- You can easily heat your garden room to stay warm throughout the winter. We offer several ways to heat your room. For example, you could use one of our climate control units and then use this to easily control the temperature of your garden room. Not only will this provide a great source of warmth in the winter months, but it will also provide ice-cold air to keep you cool in the summer. All our units are professionally installed by certified electricians and each is timer and thermostat controlled. Underfloor heating is also offered as an extra service, or you may prefer dual air conditioners/heating, wall-mounted electric heaters or even a log burning stove. For our signature and bespoke rooms, we work closely with you to scope out the best and most cost-effective way to heat your garden room that can include:
- Underfloor heating
- Wall mounted radiators or electric heaters
- Dual air conditioners/heaters
- Free-standing oil filled radiators
- Log burning stoves

- It is possible to add windows or doors to the original design of your garden room. If you would like to make these changes, we recommend contacting the sales team for more information. They will be able to provide you with the necessary guidance and assist you with the process of modifying the design to incorporate new windows or doors. Keep in mind that depending on the location and size of the new openings, you may need to obtain planning permission and Building Regulations approval. The sales team will be able to advise you on the specific requirements for your project.
- Yes, we offer climate control units for our garden rooms. These units are available in two sizes: 2.5kw and 3.5kw, depending on the size of your garden room. Our electricians and specialist partners will professionally install the units to ensure that they are properly functioning and efficient. In addition to the internal climate control unit, you will also need to facilitate the installation of an external unit to complete the air conditioning system. If you are interested in adding a climate control unit to your garden room, please let our team know and we will be happy to provide you with more information and a customised quote.
- A veranda can be an excellent addition to a garden room. If you would like to add a veranda, just let us know during the initial consultation stage and we can incorporate one for you. However, we would recommend checking the permitted development rights because this can have an impact on these.

Construction
- We spend between 6 and 8 weeks on the construction stage of our timber garden rooms. The construction phase involves laying the foundations, installing insulation, making it watertight, installing the plumbing and electrics, plastering and painting. A big job, but we’re sure you’ll love the final result. It’s a specialist task and one that we have mastered over the years. ““
- Building a garden gym follows a similar process to building any garden room. However, it’s important to make sure the floor is strong enough to withstand the use of heavy equipment. You will want to make sure your gym is large enough for all the equipment you plan to use, and you may even want to consider a separate shower or changing area for extra comfort. ““
- Insulating a garden office floor can be quite a large and specialist job, so you will need the right equipment and skills. Or you can just leave it up to us. All of our garden rooms are insulated to the highest standard in the floors as well as the walls and ceilings, and we also use double-glazed glass to ensure you can use your garden room in comfort even in the coldest winter months. ““
- If you’ve outgrown your garden shed, you may want to consider a garden room that you can use as an office. Sheds are often too small and uncomfortable to use as offices, but a garden room is just as comfortable as any other room in your home. Our garden offices are well insulated, include plug sockets and are large enough to easily fit a desk, chair and other office equipment. ““

- You can heat your garden office by using a small portable electric heater. Electric convection heaters can quickly heat up a garden room, and because our garden offices are well insulated, the heat will stay inside to keep you warm even during the winter. We also offer underfloor heating as an extra. ““
- Our summer houses are insulated and have double-glazed windows and doors for your comfort, and they can be used all year round. However, you might also want to heat your summer house during the winter, and an electric convection heater is a simple and effective way to keep it warm when being used. ““
- Yes, it is absolutely worth insulating a summerhouse. Despite the name, there is no reason you should only use your summerhouse in the summer. With high-quality insulation and double-glazed windows, you can enjoy a cooler summerhouse in the summer while staying snug and warm during the winter months. ““

- While we do not currently offer a completely soundproof solution for our garden rooms, we do offer a noise reduction pack that can help to reduce the transmission of sound through the walls, floors, and ceilings of the garden building. This pack includes sound-reducing insulation, a sound-reducing membrane, and acoustic glass. The insulation and membrane work together to effectively reduce the transfer of sound to approximately -45db, while the acoustic glass helps to reduce the transmission of sound through windows and doors. However, it is important to note that the acoustic glass is the least effective component of the noise reduction pack, and the more glass is included in your garden room, the less effective the pack will be at reducing noise. If you have any questions about our noise reduction pack or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
