Materials & Craft

Every material is chosen for performance, beauty and longevity. Nothing is incidental.

Our Approach

Selected, Not Sourced

We don’t pick materials from a catalogue. Every timber, every finish, every fixing is selected for how it performs, how it ages and how it feels.

Our material palette is refined over years of building. It is not assembled from supplier defaults.

When you visit our showroom, you can touch every surface, feel every weight, and understand why each choice matters.

Cladding

The Face of Your Garden Room

Cedar cladding

Premium Canadian redwood cedar. Naturally durable, rich in colour and aromatic. Weathers to a beautiful silver-grey over time or can be maintained with oils to preserve its warm tone.

Reclaimed wood

Salvaged timber with character and history. Each board carries unique grain, weathering and patina — a sustainable, characterful choice that brings warmth and individuality to every build.

Composite Cladding

Low-maintenance engineered boards. Consistent colour, no treatment required. A modern alternative for clients who prefer minimal upkeep.

Charred ebony

Timber finished using the traditional Shou Sugi Ban charring technique. Produces a deep, textured black surface that is naturally weather-resistant, low-maintenance and architecturally striking.

Openings
