We assess planning constraints during our site consultation — so you have clarity before commitment.

Common Questions
Why a Timer Garden Room?
What external cladding options do I have?
Choose from stunning charred ebony, or classic western red cedar.
You can choose from Charred Ebony or Western Red Cedar cladding installed vertically on the front of your garden room*.
Our modern-looking Charred Ebony cladding is produced from the finest slow-grown Siberian Larch, a naturally durable wood sourced from sustainable forests.
Our Western Red Cedar Cladding is equally as beautiful, sustainable and high performing. Slow grown in the Pacific Northwest of Canada, it’s sourced from leading sawmills that are PEFC™ certified.
*If you’d like your choice of timber cladding on the sides and back of your garden room as well, you can upgrade from the metal rhino cladding offered as standard.
Can I use my garden room all year round?
Yes, they’re so well insulated that they can be used throughout the year. All our garden rooms benefit from the thermal expertise we use to build our houses, and also come with a heater for those rare snowy days!
What timber do you use?
We are 100% bespoke and use multiple suppliers.
All of our timber is sourced from sustainable forests in countries with colder climates, so the wood is closer grained and heavier, avoiding the more open grained wood that has a greater tendency to twist or warp.
How to build a wooden garden room?
We spend between 6 and 8 weeks on the construction stage of our timber garden rooms. The construction phase involves laying the foundations, installing insulation, making it watertight, installing the plumbing and electrics, plastering and painting. A big job, but we’re sure you’ll love the final result. It’s a specialist task and one that we have mastered over the years.
